About Pat Schiltz
Director of Development, Sports Broadcasting, and Underwriting
Pat adds a lifetime of sport experience to the KFHC broadcasts. Formerly, all-state in three sports at Estherville High School, Pat played baseball at Briar Cliff College where he was received all-NAIA honors. Graduating from Briar Cliff with a Bachelor of Arts in History/Sociology and has earned a Master of Education (M.Ed) from Wayne State College.
Currently, Pat is the supervisor of the School Within A School Program (SWIS) in the Sioux City Community School District. A 30-year veteran of public schools, Pat has taught history, sociology, and business. He also coached basketball at Bishop Heelan for 15 years, being part of five state tournament teams.
Married and father of three, wife Julie is the Director of Mercy Home Health and holds a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from the University of Iowa. Julie was an all-state player for the 1982 Estherville state championship team. They have three children, daughter Grace, and sons Will and Tommy.
